Please be advised that the BOIL WATER ORDER issued 2 October 2020 has been RESCINDED effective immediately.  All test results from Friday, Saturday and Sunday demonstrated that our treated water has remained safe and consistently well above the provincial standards. ALBERTA HEALTH recommends that all faucets be run for 5 minutes prior to being used for normal consumption.  Thank you for your patience and understanding with this issue.

WWWU COVID-19 Statement

We wanted to reach out to you to let you know that the Wintergreen Woods Water Utility administrative and maintenance teams have been monitoring our systems closely to evaluate the impact COVID-19 might be having on our ability to provide uninterrupted high quality water to your taps.  Our technicians testing the water every day follow the recommended practices by Alberta Health and Alberta Environment and their samples taken are isolated from the main treated water source.  Further, sufficient staff are presently available to meet all regulatory and operational requirements.  The Water Treatment Plant is running well with no issues from raw water collection intake to pump house to storage tanks.  In short, the COVID-19 pandemic is having no impact on our Water Coop.

Stay well everyone,
